Her path into care
Getting to know Camila.
Before becoming a Physician Assistant, Camila cared for patients as an Emergency Medical Technician at West Kendall Baptist Hospital. Her work in an acute care setting involved supporting people through urgent health needs, alongside a wider clinical team.
She went on to earn her master's degree in Physician Assistant studies at Florida International University, building on an undergraduate education that included a minor in Nutrition. Her supervised clinical rotations brought her into functional medicine, endocrinology, emergency medicine, and primary care.
Curiosity & continued learning
A new chapter at Allura.
Camila joins Allura as Lead Clinical Provider, bringing her clinical background and a particular interest in functional medicine. Continued learning is part of that interest: exploring how health history, nutrition, and everyday habits fit into the broader conversation about wellness.
At Allura, she leads clinical assessments and treatment planning. Your first conversation is a chance to share what matters to you, ask questions, and understand the options that may be appropriate for your health and goals.
