Strength & PerformanceNorth Miami Beach
Weight management is personal. At Allura in North Miami Beach, start with a thoughtful medical conversation about your health, your routine and what you want to change. Explore the next steps that fit your circumstances.

Care that starts with listening
You may have tried different plans, made changes that were difficult to maintain, or reached a point where you want more guidance. Your consultation is a space to explain that experience without judgment. We begin with your goals and the life around them: work, family, food, movement, sleep and the things that make consistency difficult. What has worked for someone else may not fit your circumstances. Your experience gives the conversation a more useful starting point.
An appropriately licensed clinician reviews your health history, current medicines and previous approaches before discussing possible next steps. The aim is to help you understand the recommendation, ask questions and make an informed decision. If medication is considered, the conversation includes the exact product, suitability, potential risks and follow-up. A consultation does not guarantee a prescription.
Your plan should also make sense between appointments. Talk about practical changes you can maintain, how progress would be reviewed and the support you would find useful. Before proceeding, clarify what is included and what would be arranged separately. There is room to ask about alternatives, discuss costs and take the time you need to understand the next step.

Your history and experience matter. Share what you have tried, what helped and what made it difficult to continue.
Discuss the reasons behind each recommendation, the alternatives and how it could fit your everyday life.
Ask how your clinician would assess progress, respond to unwanted effects and reconsider the approach when needed.
Progress beyond the scale
Body weight is one part of the conversation. Your routine, activity, treatment tolerance and clinical information also help put changes in context. Ask which measures are useful for you and how often they should be reviewed.
Talk about the meals you enjoy, your schedule, sleep and the moments that make consistency difficult. Your everyday life belongs in the conversation.
Share the activities you enjoy, your current routine and any limits. Ask how activity and strength could fit your goals and health needs.
Discuss the measures that matter for you, how the plan feels and any unwanted effects. Agree on how and when to review the approach.
An optional, separate service
Allura’s InBody assessment estimates muscle, body fat and body water. Explore what the report could add to your progress discussion, and ask about its separate cost.
An informed medication conversation
These ingredients are used in certain prescription weight-management products. The right discussion starts with your medical history and the exact proposed medicine, including its suitability, evidence and availability.
Medication, when appropriate, is one part of the picture. Your clinician can help you understand how an option relates to your health, everyday habits and longer-term care.
Which exact medicine is being considered, why might it fit your circumstances and what are the alternatives?
What are the possible benefits and important risks? How would you receive instructions and get help with concerns?
What would the medicine, appointments and any testing cost? What would follow-up and longer-term review involve?
The people behind your care
Meet Allura’s medical leadership and clinical provider. The team can explain who will see you, what the appointment includes and how any recommended next steps would be arranged.
Your goals, your starting point
For adults who want medical guidance with weight-management concerns. An appropriately licensed clinician assesses individual suitability and risks. Share relevant health history, medicines and supplements, previous treatments, allergies and any pregnancy or breastfeeding plans so the discussion reflects your circumstances.
Your individual circumstances guide the next step. An interest in a service does not establish suitability.
What to expect
A conversation, an individual clinical review and a clear explanation of what comes next.
Talk through your goals, previous approaches, health history, current medicines and the questions you want answered.
Discuss appropriate next steps with your clinician, including practical habits and whether a prescription option deserves consideration.
Understand the recommendation, costs and proposed review arrangements before deciding how to proceed.
Bring a current medicine and supplement list, relevant existing reports, allergies and the questions you want answered. A few notes about previous approaches and your usual routine can help explain your starting point. The team can tell you whether anything else is needed; do not arrange new tests or change existing medicines solely to prepare.
Keep the explanation of your agreed next steps and who to contact with questions. If medication is prescribed, follow your clinician's exact instructions and review arrangements. Share unwanted effects, access problems or changes in your health promptly so the plan can be reassessed. Do not change a dose or substitute another product on your own.
Questions, answered
A little clarity before you decide. For questions about your own health or care, speak with a qualified professional.
We begin with your goals, health history, current medicines and previous approaches. A clinician reviews the information and discusses suitable next steps. Bring questions about what matters to you and what has made earlier plans difficult.
No. A prescription depends on an individual clinical assessment. Current availability and the exact proposed product also need confirmation. Your clinician may recommend a different approach. Compounded medicines are not FDA-approved and should not be assumed equivalent to approved products.
Medication, when appropriate, is one part of weight management. Food, activity, sleep and habits deserve attention too. Ask what guidance and follow-up are included in your proposed care.
There is no promised amount or timetable. Response varies by person and treatment. Discuss realistic expectations, how progress would be reviewed and what would prompt your clinician to reconsider the plan.
These are separate Allura services. The team can explain whether either would be useful for your goals and what it would cost. Dedicated Functional Nutrition Coaching remains coming soon, so a coaching package should not be assumed to be included.
Bring a current medicine and supplement list, relevant existing reports, allergies and your questions. Before proceeding, confirm the consultation fee and any separate program, testing, medicine or follow-up costs with the team. Do not arrange new tests or change existing medicines solely to prepare.
