A closer look

Get to know your gut microbiome.

Your gut is home to a community of bacteria. GutID uses a small stool sample collected at home to describe that community in a digital report, with information about its composition, diversity and patterns studied in microbiome research. At Allura in North Miami Beach, you can explore the two report options and ask how testing fits your interests.

Start with the report previews below. They show how GutID presents findings and suggestions, so you can arrive with questions about food, daily habits and what you want to understand. Allura can help you compare the options and discuss the support available before you choose.

GutID provides wellness and educational information. It is not a diagnostic test and does not replace medical evaluation or treatment.

See your bacterial community

Explore the types and relative amounts of bacteria reported in your sample. GutID’s Target Plot brings that information together in a visual map.

Explore diversity

Learn how the report presents bacterial richness, evenness and other scoring factors. Example pages help make unfamiliar terms easier to follow.

Bring practical questions

Use the report to start a conversation about nutrition and everyday habits. Discuss which suggestions fit your circumstances before changing your diet or adding supplements.

A look inside your report.

Real pages from GutID’s de-identified sample reports show how the findings are presented. Open a page to read it at full size.

Example reports only. The values, scores and suggestions shown are not your results and do not predict your health or outcomes. GutID provides educational wellness information, not a diagnostic test.

Your goals, your starting point

Is this the right fit for you?

This may interest adults who want to learn about their gut bacteria and bring more focused questions to a nutrition discussion. If you have persistent or worsening digestive symptoms, seek medical evaluation rather than waiting for a microbiome report.

Who may be interested

  • People curious about their gut microbiome
  • People comparing Core and Complete before choosing a test
  • Clients interested in discussing microbiome information and nutrition

Your individual circumstances guide the next step. An interest in a service does not establish suitability.

What to expect

From your kit to your results.

A simple collection at home, laboratory analysis, and a report you can explore with support.

  1. Choose your test

Compare Core and Complete, then ask Allura about pricing and the support available with your selection.

  2. Activate and collect

Activate your kit online before collecting a small stool sample at home, following the supplied instructions.

  3. Return your sample

Package and send your sample as directed. GutID estimates results about 3–4 weeks after laboratory receipt.

  4. Review your results

Open your digital report in the GutID portal, note your questions and contact Allura about available results support.

Before you begin

Activate your kit before collecting and follow its instructions for the sample, packaging and return. Ask about recent antibiotics, medicines, supplements or significant diet changes. Do not stop prescribed medication or change your diet simply to influence the result; request kit-specific guidance if you are unsure.

After your results arrive

When your report is ready, save a copy and note the findings or suggestions you want to discuss. Contact Allura about available results support. Review proposed diet or supplement changes with an appropriate professional, especially if you take medication or follow an existing care plan.

Questions, answered

GutID Microbiome Test: what to know

A little clarity before you decide. For questions about your own health or care, speak with a qualified professional.

What is the difference between Core and Complete?

Core Gut Insights focuses on your gut bacterial community, diversity and gut-related report findings. Complete Microbiome Assessment includes Core and adds reporting on research associations involving the gut and brain, immune system, metabolism and heart health. Both use an at-home collection kit; a broader report is not automatically the better fit for every question.

What sample is needed, and can I collect it at home?

GutID uses a small stool sample collected at home. Activate the kit online before collection, then use the collection materials and follow the packaging and return instructions supplied with your kit.

How long do GutID results take?

GutID currently estimates about 3–4 weeks after its laboratory receives your sample. This timing begins at laboratory receipt, not when you book or order. GutID notifies you when the digital report is ready in its portal; processing times may vary.

Can someone help me understand my report?

Contact Allura to ask about the results support available, how it is arranged and what your selected service includes. Bring the full report and your questions so the conversation can focus on findings and practical next steps relevant to you.

Do I need to follow every food or supplement suggestion?

Treat the suggestions as topics to discuss. An appropriate professional can help you consider your usual diet, preferences, medications and existing care before you start supplements or make restrictive changes.

Do the sample reports show what my results will be?

No. The previews are examples from de-identified GutID reports. They show the layout and types of information you can explore; the scores, findings and suggestions belong to those samples. Your own results will differ.
